Please read this before making a booking.

Maximise your limited time at the Gallery; plan your day strategically. Consider your desired outcomes and which combination of booked services, individual experiences and resources, outlined in this handbook, can best achieve them.
 

Serviced Bookings

1. Have the following information ready
Program - Name of tour, workshop or study morning
Dates - Have an alternative date if your first preference is not available
Time - Have an alternative time if your first preference is not available
Students - How many students and what year level?

2. Contact the Bookings Office
A minimum of two weeks' notice is required for a serviced booking

Our Booking Officer is ready to help you arrange your visit to the Gallery but the phones are often busy so faxing or emailing your requests may be more effective. Please note: we do not take tentative bookings.

3. Confirmation
· Once your booking has been made you will receive a confirmation letter by mail.
· Please check that all details are correct.
· If there are any queries contact the Bookings Office immeadiately to amend the details.

4. Payment
Payment in full must be received at least five working days prior to your visit.
Cheque: Make cheque payable to Public Programs Department, AGNSW and send to:

Credit cards: Bankcard, Mastercard and Visa accepted.
Please note: Direct debit not accepted.

5. Cancellations
The Gallery has a cancellation policy. Cancellations must be received by fax at least two working days prior to the scheduled booking. Cancellations received after this time carry full liability for payment.
 

Non-serviced Bookings

Self-guided visits can be arranged by phone, fax or email. Have the following information ready:
· Date
· Time
· Student Year Level
· Exhibition or Collection
Please note: we do not send confirmation of self-guided visits.

To receive the special educational group concessional rate for exhibitions:

• Book at least one day in advance.
• Bring ten or more students - admitted as one group with all students present.
• Payment must be made in one lump sum upon arrival at the exhibition ticketing desk - credit card or cash.
• The Gallery is pleased to admit the accompanying lecturer free.
