Narritjin at Djarrakpi Parts 1 & 2, 1980 Dir. Ian Dunlop, 89 min. Renowned artist Narritjin Maymuru is establishing a settlement at Djarrakpi, an important Manggalili clan site in the Northern Territory. This documentary gives an insight into his family life through his bark paintings and role as an educator of ancestral history.

27 February & 3 March
Women of Utopia 1984 Dir. Keith Gow, 19 min. Examines the Batik work of the women on the Utopia station in the Northern Territory in the 1980s.
Narritjin in Canberra 1980 Dir. Ian Dunlop, 41 min. In 1978 Narritjin Maymuru and his son Banapana were awarded fellowships as visiting artists to the Australian National University in Canberra. This documentary shows Narritjin at work in the studio, in a seminar session with Howard Morphy and finally at an exhibition of Manggalili art.
