This symposium sets the Walter-Guillaume Collection in its historical context. It is a collection representing the modern art of its time. It excludes or skimps certain tendencies while generously emphasising others. What does the collection "say" about its era -- the troubled period between two world wars?
Five distinguished speakers contribute to this event. The keynote speaker, Wayne C. Andersen, has published ground-breaking books and articles on Gauguin, Cézanne and Picasso among others.
Enrolment gives unlimited access to the exhibition throughout the weekend.
